Tooling Update

Hi Backers -
Several of you have requested an update, sadly we do not have much news to share as we've received minimal updates from the factory ourselves despite multiple requests.
Here's where we are at:
- All of the initial tools have been made, but still require work to bring them into acceptable tolerances.
- We recently received word the factory is back from Chinese New Year (CNY) and is looking over all the revision notes to the tooling we have sent them.
We will continue to show updates to the tooling as they come. The project at this time is more than a year behind, but we are striving to finish this out as soon as we can.

Hi Everybody!
We wanted to give a quick update on the progress so far.
Things at the factory are still moving slowly after a huge backlog of projects the past 2 years. The good news is we are picking up steam and are seeing new samples and tooling updates more frequently.
A couple of the tools are complete as well but they all need to be finished before production.
Below is the latest Stair sample that was received.

Series Two Update

Hello Friends,
We are on the road to JoeFest 2021, but we wanted to share with you that we received some updated samples yesterday and we are excited to see just how close the molds are starting to get.
We received samples for the stanchions, slidey boxes, cat walks as well as the 2- and 4-inch connectors. They are not yet a perfect fit, but we’ve come a long way from the samples we showed off in our Kickstarter videos last year.
We are disappointed that the molds are not yet finished. The factory that we partnered with for Series Two is not the same factory that produced Series One as that factory shut down prior to the Kickstarter. This means that the new factory must work extra hard to make sure the tolerances between Series One and Series Two match exactly to ensure everything fits seamlessly together. Add in some additional factory staffing shortages and we are now behind schedule.
We are still working to adjust the Laser Weapon System, the Missile System, and the Stairs with hope that the molds will be completed soon so that we can begin production. We are still optimistic about a Fall 2021 ship date.
If you plan to be at JoeFest in Augusta, Georgia this weekend make sure to stop by the Raginspoon booth to see the latest samples up-close and in-person. We plan to take and post more photos online in the following week.

Series Two Update

Hello Friends,
We have some great news and some not so great news.
First, the not great news. We had hoped to start production by early March; however, we’ve encountered some issues adjusting the molds. The molds for the Laser Weapon and Missile Systems as well as the Stairs require very specific tolerances. To fit into the larger base system, they need to fit just right and currently they don’t. Our factory is working closely with us to get the tolerances just right and it is our hope to have the molds completed by May. As a result, we expect this to delay shipment of Series Two to the fall of 2021. This is not the news we wanted to share with you, but we believe it’s important to ensure each part of Series Two is compatible with the rest of COMPLEX.
Now to the good news, we were able to get the funds together to offer the Modular Wall System as a pre-order! We recently acquired the funds and fortunately, we’ve not had the same issues with the molds for the Modular Walls as we have with the Weapon Systems and Stairs. The Modular Walls will be ready with the rest of Series Two and all we need is a solid count of how many you would like to pre-order. Since the Kickstarter is closed, we will not be able to offer the Modular Walls as an option with your backer funds; however, you can pre-order them on the BackerKit website. We intend to ship the Modular Walls with the rest of the Series Two Kickstarter in the fall of 2021. A link will be provided in the next week to pre-order your Modular Walls.

Series Two Update

Hello Friends!
Update on Series Two. We are still tweaking and adjusting the molds to ensure they are just right for production. This is taking a bit longer than we anticipated; however, we plan to keep you in the loop as we make progress. The next step is to receive and approve final production tooling, including painted samples.
